CoverVoz is operated by Parent Vertical LLC. This page says what we keep, why, and what you can do about it.
What CoverVoz is — and isn't
CoverVoz keeps track of insurance you already have. It is not an insurance company or a licensed insurance agency, and it does not sell, quote or bind insurance. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens.
What we keep
- Your email address, your name if you add it, your language and, if you choose, your mobile number.
- Your household as you enter it: the people who drive, your cars (including the VIN), the addresses of the places you live or own.
- Your policies: insurer, policy number, dates, coverages, price and the claims phone number.
- Your claims: what happened, when, the insurer's claim number, the adjuster and every update you add.
- For a driver's license, only the state and the last 4 characters. We never ask for a Social Security number.
Sensitive details are encrypted where they are stored.
Proof links
A proof-of-insurance link shows a summary of one policy to whoever has the link, until it expires (one hour to 30 days; three days unless you choose) or you turn it off. We store only a fingerprint of the link, never the link itself.
Who we share it with
Nobody, unless you ask. If you leave a request to compare prices and agree to be contacted, the details of that request go to a licensed agent so they can contact you. We never sell your data and never use it for anything except running CoverVoz for you. We never share your mobile number or your agreement to receive texts with anyone for their marketing.
Email and texts
We email you sign-in links and renewal reminders. We text you only if you add a mobile number and agree to text reminders; reply STOP at any time.
Your choices
From the app you can download everything we keep about you, or delete your account and everything in it, at any time. Encrypted backups expire on a fixed schedule.
One thing stays after you delete your account: the record of what you agreed to (for example, to text reminders) — the exact text, the phone number, the time and the IP address — kept as proof of that consent. Everything else is deleted.
